St. Mark's Fair: The Qualicum Beach Community Fair

42 years' old and the fun is bigger and better than ever as thousands of people from all over the Island come to garner treasures of all kinds from the almost 140 vendors at this community supported Fair. Memories flood in as you visit the Old Country Market with the jams and pickles preserved in local kitchens. Mouth watering breads, cakes and cookies bring back the taste of real home baking. You have to get up early to score one of the famous Holy Roller pies that come with crispier crusts and more apple, berry, pecan, rhubarb and raisin filling. Values are found in the original St. Mark's venues found inside the QB Community Hall. Baubles and Beads displays a cornucopia of fine and costume jewellery and New to You clothing offers brand name fashions at unbelievable prices. Collectors seek out the treasures in the Book Nook, Will you find the first edition of a rare novel? Local musical artists perform at various areas around the Fair and children are entertained with fun and educational activities throughout the day. The Legion has a beverage garden and the Curling Club has a cool retreat with great food. The Big Grill will satisfy your need for a fresh burger with their gourmet offerings. There's lots of parking and a continuous shuttle will take you from your car to the Fair and back again with your parcels!
