The Smiths Falls & District Historical Society has been instrumental in many efforts to preserve the history of Smiths Falls and area. From the development of a town museum to the publication of the book The History of Smiths Falls, our Historical Society has been committed to preserving the rich history of Smiths Falls and surrounding area from 1983 when it became incorporated and affiliated with the Ontario Historical Society. Please note: Our friends at the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum currently relay calls and emails to us as we are a volunteer organization that does not currently have its own office.
