Enter:Preneur NL is a program aimed at increasing education and awareness in entrepreneurship for those entering into the skilled trades. This will be done by connecting information, outreach, and mentoring sessions with college and high school students and educators. The intention is to take a holistic approach educating both students and educators to ensure that all parties involved are informed and excited about entrepreneurship. Skills Canada see entrepreneurship as an excellent choice for those in the skilled trades. Entrepreneurship allows these individuals to use their skills and expand their horizons beyond what they've learned in the classroom and the workplace. The project will be headed up by Evan AuCoin, Skills Canada NL's newest employee. Evan will be conducting school presentations, facilitating information sessions, and engaging local mentors and community members.
