The Saskatoon Community Foundation is committed to making the City of Saskatoon the best place to live. For more than 44 years, they have been supporting local charities through grants and resources in order to enable them to better serve the community. Giving to the Saskatoon Community Foundation is a way to create a legacy and to invest in the community. The Saskatoon Community Foundation is different than other charities, because we invest your donation. The money earned from this investment is then passed on through grants to service providing charities. SCF ensures that all gifts have a long term impact and are far reaching and effective. With the proceeds from the first gift in 1973 combined with additional donations made over the years, SCF now provides grants of over $2 million per year. From providing resources for the homeless to supporting arts and culture in the city, SCF is at the pulse of the community and an integral part of Saskatoon. A gift to the Saskatoon Community Foundation is a gift to Saskatoon, the future, and your legacy. Also responsible for Random Act of Kindness Day in Saskatoon and the PotashCorp Mayor's Cultural Gala.
