Rise Ringette Camp

Rise Ringette Camp is a high performance camp for U12 and U14 players (anyone born in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005). The first camp will be from July 4th - 8th at the BMO Centre in Bedford, NS. This camp will run from 12 - 5 pm. The second camp will be from July 18th - 22nd at Cole Harbour Place in Cole Harbour, NS. This camp will run from 11:30 - 4:30 pm. The cost is $250 per player or $100 per goalie. The camp will consist of 8 hours of ice, 6 hours of dry-land and 4 hours of chalk-talk sessions. The ice session on Friday will be a 2 hour scrimmage, all other ice-times will be 1.5 hours. There will be a dry-land session every day except for Friday that will be 1.5 hours. The chalk-talk sessions will be held before every ice time, mainly focused on health/nutrition and ringette strategies. Each ice and dry-land session will have a main focus: Dryland: M - Conditioning Tu - Strength W - Agility Th - Fitness Games * Athletes will learn exercises they can perform at home to better their game. Icetime: M - Skating, edges and agility Tu - Passing and shooting W - Checking and channeling Th - Triangle, 3v3, 4v3, 3v2 F - Game Rise Ringette's goal is to provide a fun and positive learning environment.
