Me Brabant est titulaire d'un baccalauréat en histoire, d'un baccalauréat en relations industrielles et d'une licence en droit civil. Il est également titulaire d'un diplôme d'études supérieures en gestion et d'un diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisé en santé et sécurité au travail. Me Brabant est membre de l'Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec depuis 2004. Il a, au cours de ces années de pratique, plaidé devant différents tribunaux en droit du travail, tels que les arbitres de griefs, la Commission des relations de travail et la Commission des lésions professionnelles (maintenant appelés le Tribunal Administratif du Travail) et le Conseil canadien des relations industrielles. Il a également représenté des organisations patronales et syndicales lors de séances de négociation de conventions collectives. Maintenant devenu avocat, Me Brabant représente ses clients devant toutes les instances touchant le droit du travail et de la santé et sécurité au travail (CSST-CNESST, harcèlement psychologique) et ce, autant en application du droit fédéral du travail que du droit québécois
