Pay It Forward- Stratford

Every year YMCA's across Canada celebrate YMCA Peace Week the 3rd week of November. We award our Peace Medal to a local individual or group who has gone out of their way to help foster a culture of peace. We also take the opportunity to incorporate various stories and crafts focusing on Peace into all of our programs. This year as a part of our Peace Week activities we've decided to embrace the "Pay It Forward" movement and encourage our great community to get involved!! We would like to challenge YOU to do 3 random acts of kindness over the next 2 weeks! If someone offers to "pay you back" for what you've done we'd like to ask you to tell them to "pay it forward" by doing 3 random acts of kindness themselves for 3 other strangers!! Imagine the ripple effect we could cause! Please join the movement and our new Facebook Page "Pay It Forward- Stratford" and share your story! Did you pay for the coffee of the person in line behind you? Or did you receive someone else's 'random act'? Either way we'd like to hear about it here!! If you're stuck for an idea of what to do don't worry, we will keep posting ideas and others stories to inspire!! Thank you for being a part of our Pay It Forward Movement and have fun!!!
