Open Arms Boarding Kennel and Daycare

Open Arms Boarding Kennel and Daycare offers full dog boarding and daycare services as well as boarding for small pets. Cat boarding is coming soon! Open Arms is a safe, fun, and inclusive space for any dog who needs a home away from home. Every dog is welcome — shy or outgoing, young or old, spry or infirm. Our mission is to use our knowledge and experience to make each client’s stay the happiest, healthiest, and least stressful it can possibly be. Unlike some boarding kennels, we don’t refuse dogs just because they’re timid or reactive. Every interaction at Open Arms is handled with care and knowledge learned through years of experience to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. This allows us to include clients who are often turned away from other kennels because of their special medical or behavioural needs. Overnight Dog Boarding: Boarding service fees run on an 8 AM-8 AM or 5 PM-5 PM schedule. Drop-off and pick-up outside the hours of 8 AM-5 PM can be arranged for an additional fee to accommodate those who work overtime or long shifts. Whether your pup is with us for an entire month or just one night, every day includes plenty of play, socialization, and outdoor time. Medications are administered whenever necessary and meals are given on a schedule your dog is used to. We suggest bringing the bedding and toys your dog likes most to help them feel at home. Care is individualized to your dog’s needs as much as possible. Dog Daycare: Daycare services run from 8 AM to 5 PM for a full day and 8-12 or 1-5 for half days. Extended hours are available upon request for an additional fee to accommodate those who work overtime or long shifts. Not all daycare dogs need to be “dog-friendly”! Timid, asocial, or reactive dogs get play time in private outdoor runs. Careful introductions can be attempted if you’re interested in socializing your asocial dog — daycare is a great place for dogs to work on their social skills in a safe, controlled environment. Small Pet Boarding: Services and fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis for each species and are available now, but drop-off and pick-up times are the same for small pets as they are for dogs.
