My Father had given me a 150 in 1 Electronic Projects Kit in 1975, which had ignited a long term passion for the power of renewable energy. Nearly two decades later I contacted a supplier of solar modules in Ontario. I bought enough equipment to service my home as well as some friends. Everything was great except for one thing; I wanted more. So I did it again. Order, deliver, install and... then the phone began to ring. I had not intended to start a renewable energy company. There was an 'alternative energy' business in Nova Scotia at the time but I thought, with the price of energy continually rising, there was room for me to be in the game as well. What began as a desire to lower my energy cost in the summer of 1996 has become our call to action.
