Nostadt's Famous BBQ Sauce

Nostadt's Famous BBQ Sauce is a specialty sauce created by the Nostadt Family over 30 years ago. Jack and Donna Nostadt lived in Maidstone, Ontario and raised their family on a beef farm, while also raising market livestock. Donna was a born entrepreneur and opened up a butcher shop. Jack raised the cattle from the farm to be sold in their shop, while Donna handled the business operations. Being raised on a farm in Western Ontario Jack had a passion for producing Grade A beef as well as prize show cattle. Within the next few years, his children Debbie and John started showing their cattle in 4H competitions all over Ontario. Donna then got the idea of starting a vendor for selling food at shows all over Ontario. The idea soon became a reality, quickly selling her signature Beef on a Bun. She also made a BBQ sauce to accompany the sandwiches. This was a great success for Donna. Within a few weeks, Donna then decided to market and bottle her product to the public. Donna passed away in November 2013 leaving her legacy of Queen of the Beef on a Bun for 30 years to carry on. To this day John continues the beef operation as well as attending shows with his family. Debbie has continued the tradition of making the BBQ sauce with her family members.
