About Me, I bought my first rental properties back in 2002, and I really had no clue what was involved or what to expect. I've since learned from experience. I'm also a licensed realtor with Remax Realty Specialists, and have been in the business for more then 10 years. Over the past 10 years I have developed a set of criteria for renting to new tenants and have helped many new landlords navigate this process. I have few less issues with tenants now then I did when I first started out, because I now do the work upfront screening them. I have had tenants who walked my dog and tenants that have burned down my building.
