Is Never Alone Barrhaven a place? Never Alone Barrhaven is the name for an initiative aimed at Barrhaven youth. It is run out of the South Nepean Community Health Centre in Barrhaven, Ottawa. Never Alone Barrhaven uses Facebook and Twitter to connect with the community, spread messages, and give information on events, etc. What is the purpose of the Facebook and Twitter account for Never Alone Barrhaven? Social media is an amazing way to communicate in today's world, and it is our goal that NABarrhaven's social media pages will spark conversation and spread messages to all youth. Our social media accounts will have updates on events, posts about different common issues, and inspiring and fun content. What kind of services does Never Alone Barrhaven offer? NABarrhaven offers many different services. Some of these are (but not limited to): events on different issues like mental health and cultural stigma, counselling, and safe spaces to talk. Do I have to live in Barrhaven to use the services or be a part of this group? Definitely not! This initiative has started in the Barrhaven community, but it is our hope that it will reach youth all over the city. I am a parent of a Barrhaven youth. Is there anything here for me? Absolutely!
