We will be using the Globe Lounge for all our events. The Globe Lounge is the Globe Hotel located 25 Front St, Nanaimo It has had a transition from being a bar to a nightspot venue, most of the events there are dance events now and the Globe Lounge is only open when there is an event. Recently a dance floor has been installed and is separate from the seating area so makes for a better dance environment. The sound can be adjusted for each room so the seating area sound volume will be lower so people and mix and mingle. Also a new hi-definition big screen has been installed with a new sound system. The Globe Lounge has a full bar plus an espresso coffee bar has been added for those who may not wish to drink and drive. Food service will be instituted soon also.
