Myranda's Sweet Treats

Hey! My name is Myranda and I am the owner/baker and decorator at Myranda's Sweet Treats where I customize cookies and other sweet treats! My passion for baking and decorating originates from my grandmother, the woman who started it all. I didn't see my grandmother much, but when I did, cakes, cookies and cream puffs were our specialties. My grandmother taught me the basic principles and techniques to baking a wide variety of sweets & candy. I love what I do, I love a finished result, but I love how it reminds me of her and our time together, this is for her and her beautiful soul. What makes me different? I use fresh, high quality ingredients. I bake all cakes and cookies from scratch and I even put in extra(most often free) hours to make your order as amazing as possible: it's my portfolio too! Cakes are baked using my signature recipes, torted and filled with several layers of buttercream, flavored syrup and/or your choice of ganache. Iced in more ganache(milk, dark, white), buttercream and/or fondant. Cakes measure 4"-6" high and sometimes higher and have 3 layers of filling minimum. Cookies are baked using fresh ingredients and baked from scratch, decorated in royal icing and/or fondant and wrapped to help retain freshness. I spend all hours searching for inspiration and purchasing/attending tutorials to give you the most current and popular trends and creations. I put 110% into all of my creations and most often I add extra hours and designs for free to help create a better cake and portfolio. I have a rather large collection of cake/cookie decorating equipment and tools and am constantly adding more to keep up with current trends and to make sure I can complete any request. I use fine Callebaut Chocolate for my ganache, Swiss Meringue Buttercream for my cakes and smooth Fondant to give you the best results and most importantly an amazing taste. I want your desserts to taste as beautiful as they appears. I have a Farmers Market Food Permit which states I sell my goodies at an approved Alberta Farmers Market here in Beaverlodge. ******************************************************* I am slowly getting back into some orders this year; managing two kids is still quite different! I will be taking 1-2 cookie orders a week. I am taking a temporary break from cakes as they are more time consuming and difficult to complete with a toddler and 3 month old.
