My Feathered Kids / Mes enfants à plumes

My name is Marina and I am owned by 2 female cockatiels named Chicken and Princess and 1 male cockatiel named Little One. Chicken was my first parrot ever, and then came Princess about 2 months later. I recently acquired Little One as I have a love for the albinos. I also have 2 female Amazons, Kiwi, an orange-winged, and Lily, a double yellow headed. I also have a white ringneck dove. I think we've all been there, going to the pet shop and looking at our options in the bird department and thinking "if they only put as much thought into this department as they do for the cats and dogs section". Parrots are very under rated. I want quality. I want to know what i'm buying them is safe. I want more options. I've been really into parrots the last few years, particularly the 2 species I own, ever since I bought Chicken back in 2011. She was supposed to be for my boyfriend, but that was my ignorance back then thinking parrots will love everyone and that they do what's expected of them. A completely different experience than owning a cat or dog, which I have also had the pleasure of owning. It was new territory for me and now, I would never go back. I take the every-20-minute-poops, the occasional nips, hisses and the yelling, I take it all and I wouldn't change a thing. I've reached a point in my life where I just really want to be my own boss in a field that I love, and it so happens to be parrots. I design hand-made PVC play-stands for birds. I also make custom clay keychains and sell some select accessories just for parrots. I put my heart and sole into this, combined with the years of daily communication (I'm a Facebook addict) with parrot owners of all kinds, around the globe. I run 5 groups, 3 cockatiel related, 1 amazon related and 1 about wing clipping, as well as a non-profit organization called "Funds For Feathers" that helps owners and their parrots with their medical bills. I just really can't get enough of parrots. I swear, once you buy, rescue or adopt your first parrot, you just can't stop! My 3 year old children for life. I hope your fids love and enjoy my stands and products.
