Music Therapy Services of Simcoe County

Music Therapy Services of Simcoe County provides services to individuals of all ages and with a range of developmental, neurological, and mental health diagnoses. Our interventions strive to improve the emotional and psychological wellbeing of our clients. Music therapy is a non-verbal type of psychotherapy. It is well suited for anyone, but is particularly effective for individuals who have a difficult time communicating verbally due to their age, developmental stage, or medical diagnosis. Our team of music therapists are all accredited with the Canadian Association for Music Therapy, and are preregistered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In addition to offering services in long-term care facilities, group homes, and for private agencies, we also offer group and individual services out of our main clinic in Barrie, ON or our satellite clinic in Orillia, ON. We also provide adapted music lessons for individuals with needs that make traditional music lessons ineffective or challenging.
