MottoLane Havanese

Hello and welcome to MottoLane Havanese! My name is Chelsie and along with my husband Brayden we are dedicated to raising healthly, happy Havanese puppies. I got started in the Havanese breed in 2009 when my mom, Sandi, decided to move on from the Havanese breed and focus on her German Shephards. My first foundation female was Nibs who is a black and white parti colour Havanese. Nibs has had a few litters over the years which have resulted in beautiful, smart puppies just like herself. She is currently six years old and will be having only one more litter before I retire her next year. In 2013 Sophie came into our lives. Sophie is a silver/black Havanese with one amazing personalilty. She just recently had her first litter in August 2014 and was an excellent mother. The male that I was using was my mom's original stud Toby. Sadly in late fall of 2014 Toby passed away. In early 2015 after much searching I finally found a new breeding male who would fit in with our family. Leo is a chocolate and white parti colour boy who has tons of energy to burn! He lives with my mom who is just down the road to keep her company in the house. All our puppies are born and raised in our house. Never have we had a litter not live in the house with us which I find is critical in raising a nice, well behaved dog. All puppies are sold on a non-breeding contract, are regisitered with the Canadian Kennel club, microchipped, have their first shots and dewormings. I'm very happy to say that I almost never have to advertise the pups as word of mouth usually has them all sold before they are even born.
