Mother Meera Retreat Center

Mother Meera’s Retreat Center is set on 15 beautiful acres in the countryside of Port Colborne, Ontario, on the shores of Lake Erie. It is Mother’s first home and permanent Darshan facility in North America. The building was the former Club Rheingold, a club for German Canadians built in 1960. It has a large hall that easily accommodates 300 Darshan guests. In July of 2011, the hall was inaugurated as Mother Meera Retreat Center with 2 days of deep, silent Darshan programs attended by hundreds of guests, both local and visitors from all parts of the US and Canada. A welcome ceremony included First Nation drummers and official welcomes from city and provincial officials. Infused with Mother Meera’s wisdom and silence, this retreat center will be unlike any other retreat center in North America. It will offer new opportunities to be with Mother for both adults and children. We will have new programs beginning in the spring of 2012, including a weekly program for children.
