Mont-Vélo Montérégien est un organisme à but non lucratif dans le domaine du vélo. Nous cherchons à rendre le déplacement actif plus accessible en Montérégie en déposant des vélos en libre service gratuit. Notre projet pilote en 2016 vise la montagne et le centre-ville de Saint-Bruno. Nous étendrons notre rayon d'action avec les milieux intéressés au fil des années. Nous avons aussi un volet éducatif. À partir de l'automne 2015, des élèves en développement de l'autonomie (formation FPT) de l'école secondaire du Mont-Bruno aurons accès à des stages en mécanique de vélo. Un formateur sera sur place pour accompagner les groupes en stages afin qu'ils développent leurs habiletés. Afin de nous auto-financer, nous vendons des vélos reconditionnés par les élèves en stage à Saint-Bruno.
