We're a small business out of Lucan, Ontario- smack-dab between London, Ontario and Exeter, Ontario (20 minutes away from either). We've been in business for 15 years (give or take) and have been at our current location for about 9 of those years. 2. Our business is entirely family-run. Dad buys the product and does all of the heavy lifting, Mom does all of the selling and design-work and Daughter does everything social-media related. 3. We specialize in fun and whimsy home and garden decor and genuine Amish furniture. If you drive on Highway # 4 a fair bit you will probably recognize us as the store with all of the metal palm trees and 8 foot tall roosters out front. 4. We've been working with Amish builders for about a decade now. Our builders are traditional in every sense of the word, using literally horse-powered saws to power their equipment. 5. Our hand-crafted furniture is some of the most affordable that you will find. Hands down. The majority of our products are priced between $295 and $550. 6. We are open 7 days a week (9 am to 5 pm). If, for whatever reason, we are not open one day, we will always notify you on here. 7. New furniture almost always arrives on Thursdays (AKA NEW FURNITURE DAY). Therefore, your best bet for getting the best selection of furniture is to arrive as soon as you possibly can to then. Because many of our items are made out of reclaimed materials, they are oftentimes one-of-a-kind, therefore once they are sold, they are SOLD. If you see something that you would like, we cannot stress the importance of letting us know- waiting around oftentimes leads to disappointment when the item sells and we are unable to get any more in. 9. Custom orders of furniture are possible, we only ask that you stop into the store to discuss it with us (we find that it's much easier than trying to communicate online). With custom orders we typically ask for half of the cost, if not two-thirds, upfront. Custom pieces are non-refundable/ exchangeable and are currently taking at least four to six weeks to arrive. 11. Because our builders live on unmaintained country roads in the US, we cannot guarantee how often we will be able to visit them once the winter weather hits. 12. You may remember us as the store with all of the cast iron urns and statues outside, however, due to the ever-changing market place/ supply and demand, we no longer carry those products. That being said, we do on occasion carry smaller cast iron pieces, such as coat hooks, doorknockers, and more. 13. We carry Crossroads Candles, the best line of candles that we have ever encountered before. We retail the 26 ounce candles at $20 (+ tax) a piece, which is $6 less (if not more) than most retail locations! 14.
