“Lively Bakery” was born from our personal health need. Being gluten intolerant and my daughter being dairy free, we wanted to be able to enjoy desserts; however, a lot of the times we had to deprive our sweet tooth. So, I started to bake cakes for my family, and with their help I applied for “Recipes to Riches”. After being one of the 40 best recipes in Canada, I decided to start sharing my baking with other. The first experience with public for me was when we went to “Luckett Vineyards” and found they were looking for gluten and dairy free desserts, a few weeks later my “Raspberry Delight” appeared on their menu. I use local vegetables, fruits and berries in my baking. The sweetness of our desserts mostly come from local honey and maple syrup.
