Hello!! My name is Amy and I’m a mother of 2 beautiful boys. I currently have 2 full time spots available beginning in January 2017. Both spots are for children 24 months or older. My daycare philosophy focuses on teaching children to be kind, considerate, and respectful of others. I believe in learning through play, spending time exploring outdoors, and teaching the fundamentals in a low-pressure and fun way. I focus on letter recognition, basic numeration and learning shapes and colours. I am very warm and nurturing and your child will be loved like my own. I provide healthy, home cooked lunches and snacks. We sing songs, dance, read books and do crafts. We have a backyard play area and we get out everyday, weather permitting. Our playroom is in the basement and has many different stations for children to explore. We also play on the main floor and it has lots of natural light. There are separate rooms for each child to nap in order to ensure a good rest. Our home is smoke free, and fully child proofed. We are not a pet free home, we have a little dog named Gracie, she loves and plays well with all children. I am licensed through the District of Muskoka.
