Little Paint On The Prairie

I hope that you enjoy trying CeCe Caldwells Paints. Here are just a few things that you will notice about our paint. As the paint dries it is going to become much lighter than it is when it is wet. Run a fine grit sanding block over your piece before you wax. Once you wax, it will go deeper in color. When the wax dries the paint will be at its intended color. Apply your wax with a brush sparingly, the softer brush the better. Do not rub; let the paint soak it in. If you apply too much it is going to take longer to dry. Wait until your piece is dry before you buff and use a soft cloth to buff with. If paint gets thick it can be thinned with water, if you want it thicker, just leave the lid off. It is your choice if you like to sand before or after you wax. I personally like to do distressing before the wax. Simply rub with a dampened cloth.
