Lisa's Home Daycare

My name is Lisa and I have been a Childcare Provider since 2009. I have 20+ years of childcare experience, which includes the raising of my own children, my oldest being in her 3rd year of University. I provide full time and part time childcare in my home for infants and children ages 1 – 5 years. The total number of children I will welcome into the daycare at anytime will be 8. I am located in Power’s Pond, Mount Pearl on a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced backyard and large swing/slide set. I am backing on a greenbelt which leads to a path where we go for walks to feed the local ducks at Power’s Pond. This provides for a safe outdoor trip without having to worry about traffic. My daycare is a home where you can bring your child and feel complete trust that your child is in a safe and loving environment. You can go to work with peace of mind, knowing that your child is in good hands and that he or she is being loved and nurtured and treated as my own family. At my daycare I provide lots of love, lots of attention and lots of fun! I have lots of space and toys that your child will love to play with. I sterilize and clean toys and all surfaces that the children touch daily to keep out the germs. All bedding and blankets are washed on Fridays as well. We celebrate each child's birthday here at the daycare! We have birthday decorations, games, and cake for the birthday boy or girl which makes for a really fun day! There are also Christmas, Valentines and Halloween parties! I always take lots of pictures to share with Mom & Dad too. I want your child to have a great time here and learn at the same time. I do preschool activities with the older children to get ready for kindergarten. We practice our alphabet, counting, read books, sing, dance, draw, paint and have fun with arts and crafts. I want your child to feel safe, secure, loved, and happy with fun things to do while at my daycare.
