I had the great pleasure of growing up in one of my favorite places in the world: The Hawk, located on Cape Sable Island, the most southerly tip of Nova Scotia. I enjoyed a peaceful, sandy beach as my playground. With the restlessness found in most young adults, I moved to Kentville, in 1987, to further my education. I fell in love with the Valley, and with a young man named Dean. We were married in 1990 and our family grew quickly-adding two boys by 1997. Dean has always been a skilled carpenter/contractor and I have been thrilled to be activity involved in his Construction business. I obtained my Real Estate license in 1999 and have never looked back! I mean, what's better than a different daily workplace, showing homes and meeting interesting, unique people every single day. It's exhilarating. Selling houses of our own - has afforded me a sensitivity towards my clients' journey, which can be attributed to the first-hand perspective that I gained through these personal experiences. I understand what it is like to stand in my clients' shoes. Most of my days are spent working with delightful clients, assisting with the staging of homes, viewing homes, negotiating contracts, putting a SOLD sign on a lawn or passing keys over to ecstatic new home owners.
