Langley FC Alliance

Creation of Our Club: Langley FC Alliance was established on November 10th, 2014. FC Alliance is not only a Langley based Grassroots Club but also with its High Performance Partners, Aldergrove Soccer, Abbotsford Magnusen Ford Soccer Club. and Chilliwack FC it is a Club that will be able to provide recreational to high-performance soccer training and teams for boys, girls, and adults. Our Club Foundation: Langley FC was founded in 1999 to provide organized soccer programming for girls aged 5 – 18 years old, and in 2011 added boys and adults to our Club. Fraser Valley FC was formed in 2013 as a joint partnership of Langley FC, Aldergrove Soccer, Abbotsford Magnusen Ford Soccer Club and Chilliwack FC and was awarded the BCSPL Franchise in 2013. Fraser Valley FC operated as one of eight BCSPL franchises. Fraser Valley FC provided elite-level soccer programming for boys and girls aged 12 – 18 years old in BC. In October 2014 in order to create a stronger more united Francise the BCSPL Francise was reassigned to Langley FC. When this was done Langley FC and its High Performance Partner Clubs decided that a name change and re-branding of Langley FC to highlight the new partnership would be appropriate and Langley FC Alliance was created. It was also decided that the BSCPL teams would retain their Fraser Valley Premier nickname. Our Commitment to Our Community: Langley FC Alliance’s history also includes financial participation with the Township of Langley in field improvements at Willoughby Community Park, and new construction and renovation of soccer-related facilities. Langley FC Alliance’s Membership: The Club has grown from a membership of a few hundred girls in its early years to a total of approximately 1500 boys, girls, men and women, and has adopted a vision of providing a top-level, player-first soccer development environment in Langley and Fraser Valley.
