La vieille fromagerie Perron localisée dans le bâtiment de l’ancienne fromagerie Perron, est un site touristique du patrimoine unique, tant au plan régional, provincial que national. Ce lieu de transmission de la fabrication artisanale du cheddar se consacre à l’évolution historique, économique et technologique de l’industrie fromagère québécoise et canadienne. Cette industrie a joué et joue encore aujourd’hui, un rôle majeur dans le développement économique de notre pays. Le bâtiment a été classé monument historique exceptionnel en octobre 1989. Une visite au musée vous permettra d'apprendre comment se faisait la fabrication du cheddar anciennement. Vous rencontrerez aussi madame Marie, la femme du fromager, qui vous fera visiter son logis où elle habitait avec son mari et ses 12 enfants. Elle vous racontera aussi l'histoire de la famille Perron. Et vous ne partirez pas sans avoir dégusté 5 des fromages de la Fromagerie Perron!!
