Klondike Cakes

My passion for cakes started about 6 years ago, with the Food Network Cake Challenges. I was amazed at what you could create with such a delicious medium! I've been hooked ever since... I started making fun creative cakes for my family and friends. With 4 young kids, there is never a shortage of birthday parties, or the times when it feels like a day for a cake or cupcakes! I love experimenting with flavors, shapes and textures when creating cakes. From a simple single layer cake, a multi tiered showpiece, a fun topsy turvy cake, or a sculpted 3D cake. With elegant fondant finishes, delicate buttercream, swirls of sweet frosting and fillings, and bouquets of handmade sugar flowers. Pirate ships, two headed dragons, my little ponies, dinosaurs... who says a cake can't be fun too!
