Three days before starting a juice cleanse, you should drink hot water with lemon and ginger, and tea; eliminate any caffeine, sugars, and meat. If you are a first time cleanser, depending on your level of detoxification, you may experience lightheadness and/or some nausea. These symptoms go away after your body gets used to the detox cleanse, usually after 24 hours. But, after a couple days, you will start to feel a lot more energized and revitalized! After doing a 1-3 day cleanse, and once you understand how your body responds to the cleanse, I recommend having a juice daily as a multivitamin and trying longer cleanses.
