Higher Ground Tutoring Services

We come to you! Based in Arnprior and serving the Ottawa Valley including: Renfrew, Arnprior, Galetta, Kinburn, White Lake, Burnstown, Pakenham, Almonte and vicinity. We provide the tools for students of all ages and abilities to develop the necessary skills to have a richer, more successful educational experience. We work with students who are in public schools, private schools, or home schooled. Increased confidence results in motivation to learn, thus higher achievement. One-on-one attention is provided rather than being limited to the “one-to-many” teaching models in large classes. Instruction can be tailored for advanced students who need more challenge, for students who need help catching up or understanding a particular concept, or students with special needs. We help students grasp the concepts they will need to know to perform well in class, as well as developing effective study strategies. Our focus is to help students learn skills that help them over the long term, rather than just solving short-term problems. At Higher Ground, we believe every student can be successful. “All students can learn and succeed, but not all on the same day in the same way.” - William G. Spady
