Welcome to Happy Land Park! - Thunder Bay and Kakabeka Fall's 4-Star Big Rig Destination Park. Happy Land Campground has been owned and operated by the Altmann family for 45 years. We pride ourselves on operating a clean, quiet, well-supervised park. Campers who have previously experienced the quality of our park return time and time again to stay with us while in the Thunder Bay area. We are located on Hwy. 11/17, just 16 miles West of Thunder Bay and 1 1/2 miles East of Kakabeka Falls. There you will find a grocery store, restaurants, service stations, liquor store, post office, hair salons, churches, etc. And the city of Thunder Bay is only 16 miles away. What is there to see? - Thunder Bay has many attractions to choose from. Fort William Historical Park is the world's largest fur trading post, always a favorite, and Kakabeka Falls, the "Niagara of the North" is a mere one and a half miles from our park. East of Thunder Bay are the Amethyst mines as well as the Terry Fox Lookout and Ouimet Canyon. For more information on all the attractions Thunder Bay has to offer, please visit our website.
