Gander River Ecosystem Corporation

The Gander River Ecosystem Corporation (GREC), which was established in 2014, is a non-profit community group, concerned with the health of the Gander River watershed and protecting wild Atlantic Salmon populations. GREC works to protect and preserve open, equal, and affordable access to the Gander River watershed for all users and strives to manage the wilderness resources in a sustainable manner while generating meaningful recreational and economic opportunities for people. If you share our love of and concern for the river-whether you're an angler, boater, guide, commercial operator, VIP camp owner, cottage owner, environmentalist, or just concerned individual-we ask that you support our efforts to revitalize and protect the Gander River. We advocate increased salmon stocks, beautification of the river (removal of trash), upgrading unsafe trails, public awareness and education on keeping our watershed healthy!
