For The Health Of It

I believe looking after oneself naturally is the best way to maintain good health. As the owner of For The Health Of It, I am an advocate for natural-based supplements, herbal teas and cleansing products. People return because of the quality of our products. They ask what the difference is between buying here and buying inexpensive vitamins somewhere else. My answer is always the same. Quality comes first in this store. For The Health Of It is located at 1200 Yonge Street in Walkerton. I opened the doors in February of 2000 after seeing a need for natural health products in the area. I've been practicing this type of lifestyle for more than 25 years. I raised my children on natural health products, because I really believe in them, and now they are raising their children on natural products. Natural products can help with conditions such as sinus congestion, arthritis, digestive issues, flu prevention, high blood pressure, obesity, type 2 diabetes, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, sleep disorders and can often reduce a person's visits to the doctor's office. I have more than doubled my in-store stock since opening in 2000 and give credit to the popularity of the store because of the large selection of quality products. Some of the most popular products at For The Health Of It include Udo's Nutritional Line, developed by Dr. Udo Erasmus of British Columbia. He visited Walkerton in September 2006 and spoke about the human body's need to regularly consume essential fatty acids (Omega 3,6 & 9) Everyone can benefit from essential fatty acids. People with weight or digestive problems and those with lowered immune systems could quickly see improvements in their health. FlorEssence, which is a cleansing tea,is equally as popular. FlorEssence cleanses on a cellular level. I drink an ounce every day and it is the most satisfying, gratifying cup of tea I've ever had. I know I am getting rid of toxins in my body so it is healing on an emotional level as well. In addition to health foods and supplements, body and bath products, nutritional and herbal supplements, homeopathic remedies, cleansing products and herbal teas, For The Health Of It successfully helped to launch Healing, Health and Hope. Holly Beitz is the founder of H.H.H, a holistic health practice offering services in nutritional counseling, energy medicine, allergy testing and reflexology, right next door to us.
