ABOUT: Squamish Nation Employment & Training Department is pleased to offer services to clients living within our traditional territories – Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. Our department takes a proactive approach to building a successful workforce. We have a team of skilled and trained staff to provide a variety of services to you towards finding full-time employment. The Squamish Nation Employment and Training Department has 4 division and provide the following services: · Eslha7an Learning Centre in partnership with North Vancouver School District and Capilano University offer literacy programs. · Stitsma Career Centre in partnership with ACCESS offer employment and training to work with clients to develop a training and career path. · Squamish Nation Trades Centre in partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University offers trades training and apprenticeship programs. · WaChawatem Income Assistance offers financial assistance to those in need and qualify.
