Elysian Fields Farm

Food/Grocery in Metchosin, BC · See Food/Grocery throughout British Columbia

Temporary Shut down while we prepare to move! Happy chickens! That’s what we have at Elysian Fields! We sell all kinds of exotic and unusual eggs as available from our birds. My birds are fed a vegetarian diet and are out of their house and yard, free ranging over my meadow, eating seeds, weeds, bugs and worms. Pasture eating is why my chickens' egg yolks are deep yellow & have a true “egg” flavour. Eggs are available by email request. We had a lot of rare and unusual layer chicks this spring - guaranteed female chicks and most sold to people in the know about birds. We will probably have chicks again next spring, so if you want to “beef up” – or “chicken up?”- your flock with special birds with a real personality, contact us. If you want a particular breed you must preorder by mid- January, when hatchery orders are placed. Thank you all for coming out to support your neighbours who provide local products for you.
