Dundas Park

Dundas Park Kitchen offers nourishing meals and baked goods. Chefs Alex Tso and Melanie Harris are passionate about providing real food that makes life less complicated. Simple and unpretentious, featuring a modern sensibility with real ingredients, you won’t find excess here, just good food that you can enjoy throughout the day. The distillation of over 20 years of experience between them, Alex and Melanie want to celebrate food by creating meals that are well-seasoned and well-prepared. “We’ve been living in this neighbourhood for three years, and we feel inspired by all the great people that live and work here. We’re really happy that we have the opportunity to contribute by providing good food, made with care.” – Alex and Melanie About the owners Alex and Melanie met while both were working at Hotel Le Germain. Alex was the sous-chef at Victor restaurant to Top Chef finalist, David Chrystian. Melanie was in sales but kept finding herself in the kitchen, herself a graduate of hospitality management, and the Swiss-born daughter of a pastry chef. Their love blossomed over banquet event order sheets, and one day Alex convinced Melanie to call in sick so they could go pick wild leeks in the forest. Alex and Melanie live above Dundas Park Kitchen with their daughter, Lucie, and their two cats, Jeff and Randy.
