DrCarly Wendler

Health/Medical/Pharmacy in Waterdown, ON · See Health/Medical/Pharmacy throughout Ontario

My specialization & expertise is in perinatal health, spanning fertility, pregnancy, birth, pediatrics, and the post partum period. I am a staunch supporter, as a naturopathic doctor, of respecting the awesome powers of the body and all it can do provided it is given the right building blocks. I am a strong advocate for extended breastfeeding, non violent and non interventionist birth, and focusing (after any needed treatments) on well and prevention in children rather than a wait and see approach until illness and disease sets in. I am not only a medical professional, but a Mom to a young toddler, Finnigan. I practice what I encourage others to do and try (as much as I can, because I'm not perfect but trying my best) to 'walk the walk'. My practice is patient centred, meaning I always do what is best for the individual sitting in front of me - I extend this mainly in the area of mom and baby care.
