What is Defence Lab? Defence Lab is a global network of Self Defence and Fitness Training Facilities. What do you do at Defence Lab? “We study violence so as to escape it, prevent it, and if all else fails, utilize it ourselves to survive.” What do you teach at Defence Lab? The main adult program that we teach at DL is called “DNA FIGHT SCIENCE” (DNA stands for “Defence in Attack”). This program concentrates on developing practical and functional resolutions to street altercations; it also has an inbuilt fitness regime and of course an element of fun!! Students learn the real “Science of Self Defence” when they come to our Training Facilities. This means not only learning the most innovative and cutting edge techniques and tactics of Street Self Defence but also the “Stages of Incident” when in a street altercation , the “Chemical Cocktail” that occurs in your body when your in a street altercation, the “Three I’s of Survival” necessary to survive a street altercation, and the “HGT Rule (Hit-Grab-Touch) Rule” of street altercations, etc. and these are just scratching the surface of our program. All the skills that we teach are reinforced within our learning methodology framework of “Learn it, Fatigue it, Stress it”!! Our scientific approach to learning teaches students in a way so they may actually “perform” with the material under the stress of a “real” street altercation. Yes the training is completely safe, Yes you will get in fantastic shape, and Yes you will have a blast of fun doing it, BUT Most importantly- you will learn Real Self Defence Skills that could save your life or your loved ones!!!
