Deb's Accidental Art

Hi I'm Deb Bowyer. So the hardest part about starting an "art" page, for me, was choosing a name! I never thought I'd have to come up with something. So I tossed around a few different things, and came up with this one. I do feel that I have stumbled into the art world. I have never had any formal training, outside of the local classes that I've attended over the years, and I don't have an "art degree" by any means. But I have always appreciated art and the beauty and diversity of it. I have dabbled over the years in many different mediums but most recently discovered Zentangle and Encaustic art. They are so different in technique but also very similar. Both are meant to be abstract. I kind of like that as I'm a bit of a "perfectionist" and with these art forms I don't have to be. It's a bit liberating to say the least. So, please browse around. Let me know if you'd like to see any of the pieces in another format. I like the metal prints and plaques, but I'm going to be making some cards too. I might even get some prints made of my oil and watercolour paintings if I can find a place to do that. Enjoy! Glad you're here.
