Introducing a “COBY VILLAGE VACATION” Located in the heart of the historical village of Coboconk, on the Gull River at the highest navigable fresh water summit in the world, this four bedroom, two bath room, vacation home is the perfect setting for your extended family vacation. Coboconk is a resort type village with something for everyone. Have breakfast next door, at The Gulls Nest, where Rosie cooks up her home fare. After, Grandma and Grandpa can stroll around the village and stop at the bakery for coffee. You can investigate the world’s smallest jail, and go over to the town park, with the kiddies, to build sand castles on the beach, or visit the library on rainy days. The teenagers can sleep until noon, then down to the dock for a swim, walk over to the variety store for a scooped ice cream cone, or ride bikes around town, and down the road to Indian point Provincial Park for a hike. Take your canoe or fishing boat to the municipal dock, (or rent one across the road at the marina) and go down the river to Indian Point Provincial Park to explore the inlets and the natural beauty or go all the way out to beautiful Balsam Lake. You can literally park your car for the week! Don’t feel like cooking? Coboconk has the Gulls Nest Restaurant, The Patty House Inn, with smoked bbq and sports bar with a huge outdoor patio. There is a bakery, two pizza places, a Subway shop, variety store, ice cream shop, a Foodland, Beer store, Home Hardware, and the LCBO is right next door. Lounge in the shade and watch the river while sipping on a cool drink. Go out for dinner at the Riverside Inn, a ten minute drive north on HWY 35, with fantastic food that was featured on “You Gotta Eat Here”. Enjoy an evening of roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. If the bugs get bad watch the river roll by and enjoy a game of cards on the enclosed sun deck. Further a field, there are at least six cute villages, and small towns within a half hour drive. The lift locks are also fun to explore, or go for the day to the lovely sandy beaches at Balsam Lake Provincial Park. With a three piece main floor, and four piece second floor bathroom plus four bedrooms and a loft we have the capability of sleeping twelve. Enough room for three generations or a couple of families. Coby Village Vacation house is equipped with two, main floor, Queen bed rooms, and a three piece washroom. The second floor has one more queen bedroom, a fourth bed room with a double and single bunk, as well as a ¾ bed. The loft is an open area with two single beds. The large eat in kitchen is perfect for your family gathering. A large, comfortable living area for chilly days or evenings, equipped with Wifi, a flat screen TV, Net Flix, books, puzzles, and games. The beautiful sun porch with a lovely view of Gull River is wonderful to watch rain or shine! A Coby Village Vacation will be a fantastic holiday for you and your family!
