Please Join Our Teams, Our Community, working together to save more lives in the fight against cancer! The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is the biggest cancer fundraising event in Canada, where communities come together united in the fight back against cancer. In BC and the Yukon, more than 50 communities will host Relay For Life Events that celebrate the courage and strength of people fighting cancer, remember cherished loved ones lost and fight back to stop the impact of cancer. Since 2005, the Langley Relay For Life has raised over $2.6 million dollars to help fight back against cancer. Over 83% of these funds are from the hard work of our Relay Teams who come in all shapes and sizes, ages and stages. Please consider joining us this year at McLeod Park on Friday, June 5, 2015. Relay For Life is a fun, friend-filled, non-competitive event where teams of all ages, raise funds, and then come together overnight and take turns walking or running around the track and enjoy all the amazing entertainment and activities that the volunteer organizing committee have coordinated to help bring relay to life, each year in YOUR community.
