Car Free Vancouver : West End

Since it's creation in 2005, Car Free Day Vancouver has shared and reclaimed public spaces with its local communities and visitors. Vancouver is proud to have several of its communities participate in this festival, including the original Car Free Day on Commercial Drive (aka Drive Fest), Main Street, Kitsilano and our very own, WEST END! Every year, CAR FREE VANCOUVER is celebrated on Father's Day and we see thousands of families, pets, tourists and locals come out and share in the excitement of the Festival. The WEST END is one of Vancouver's most diverse and fun-filled communities, so its no wonder this festival is a hit! Denman Street shuts down to car traffic from Robson Street to Davie Street, where you'll have the chance to meet other locals, musicians, vendors, explore local businesses and discover Denman Street like never before!
