About Clothesline® Each year, Clothesline® diverts more than 46 million kilograms of clothing and household items from our landfills. This translates into a savings of 840 million kWh of energy and reduces our donors’ carbon footprint by 115 million kilograms of CO2 emissions. This energy savings is equivalent to saving 8.2 million trees! About the Canadian Diabetes Association Across the country, the Canadian Diabetes Association is leading the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while we work to find a cure. Our community-based network of supporters help us provide education and services to people living with diabetes, advocate for our cause, break ground towards a cure and translate research into practical applications.
