Charming, chic, intimate Dynamic chef duo Maria and Bernard Grand Clément bring you a quaint café featuring farm fresh meats, cheeses, and produce. The menu features simple ingredients prepared à la minute, featuring the finest local artisan specialists: including Little Red Hen Artisan Bakery, Terroir Cheese, Kootenay Coffee, Dutchmen Diary and Windmill Meats. From the legendary restaurant "Au Paradis" in Naples, Florida Maria and Bernard are a marriage made in food heaven. Maria and Bernard Grand Clément join us from Naples Florida. Bernard, born in the Jura region of France is a Certified Chef de Cuisine who brings his international experience and love for his native French Cuisine. Maria, originally from Chicago, graduated in 1994 from NSCC’s Culinary Program in Nova Scotia, trained in France and Canada and is an accomplished Chef Patissière. Maria brings light into the room with her passion for food and service. Come and meet Bernard and Maria and welcome them to the Shuswap. The café features authentic French style food including pastries, soups, salads, baguette sandwiches and Breton style savory galettes and sweet crêpes yielding of northern France made with organic flours. All of the food is hand crafted in house by Maria and Bernard Grand Clément. The café will be serving the finest locally roasted certified organic beans from "Kootenay Coffee Company, exclusive to Café Tasse and the Prestige Harbourfront Resort in Salmon Arm.
