I am a stay at home Mom raising 2 amazing children, (most of the time) with 2 gorgeous dogs, normally acting as my shadow. My husband and I took a leap of faith in 2014 and moved our family from Britain to Canada. It was the best decision we have ever made! This bold move lead me down a path of uncertainty. My career had always been in retail and, although I loved what I did, it definitely didn't always suit my family's needs and wants. This made me question what I wanted to do for the rest of life and it was actually some of my friends who steered me in the right direction. After having brought our new family home I was inundated with friends and family commenting on my decor. It had always been a hobby of mine to create unique pieces of art and refinish or repurpose items that I found at thrift stores (I am an addict. Luckily my husband embrasses it with me!) or garage sales. One day a friend turned to me and asked me to help her with her home decor. Finally the lightbulb clicked (I think it may have been an energy saving bulb as it took a little while to fully light up) 'Why don't I do this for a living?' Very quickly my business expanded from refinishing and repurposing items to creating beautiful gifts, home decor and even wedding table plans and invites. I really love what I do and I hope you enjoy browsing through my collection half as much as I love creating it!
