I am humbled and honoured that my life has flowed to this point, where I can share the practice of Yoga with others. Yoga helps us to breathe easier, become comfortable in our skin, and to live more peacefully. Teaching Yoga is my ultimate source of joy. I teach Yoga because I LOVE Yoga and I wholeheartedly believe in it’s benefits body, mind and spirit. I began this journey in 2013 after falling in love with the practice and how it was having such a positive and powerful impact on my life. Shortly after, I decided that I wanted to take teacher training for myself. I am constantly telling people that making the decision to become a Yoga teacher has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I received my 200hr certification from Michele Theoret at Empowered Yoga in December of 2015 and am currently working on my 500hr training, also through Empowered Yoga. Practitioners can expect a powerful class, suited for all levels, with an emphasis on being true to yourself, listening to your body and how it's feeling in the moment, focusing on our breath, and gaining joy, not frustration, from your Yoga practice. Off the mat, you can find me outside running, camping, fishing, hiking and spending time with my beautiful children Natalie and Blake and husband Dave.
