Brad Ferguson, BSc,DC,FRCCSS

Dr. Brad Ferguson is a native of Amherst, Nova Scotia who completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Francis Xavier University in 2008. Following this he graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2012. Dr. Ferguson achieved cum laude, clinic honours designations as well as several scholarships and bursaries. After his chiropractic degree he was accepted into the two year Sports Sciences residency program at CMCC to obtain a specialty in sports medicine. Dr. Ferguson is currently one of 4 Sports Specialist Chiropractors in Atlantic Canada. Dr. Ferguson furthered his training by becoming a certified medical acupuncture provider at McMaster University, certified strength and conditioning specialist and a Red Cross emergency first responder. He has taught several classes in anatomy, clinical education and clinical diagnosis at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He has also published several papers and research studies over the past 4 years. Dr. Ferguson has completed over 1500 on-field sports hours with various sports including junior hockey, provincial rugby, national level taekwondo, international lacrosse, amongst many others. He has held head medical positions for the Canadian Touring Car racing series, Aurora Barbarians rugby club and Austrian World Cup Lacrosse. He has also held positions at several hospitals in the Toronto area including St. Michael's, Mt. Sinai, Toronto Western, Humber River and St. Joseph's hospitals. Dr. Ferguson's continual mission is to advance his skills and expertise in the realm of injury prevention, sports performance and management of sports injuries.
