Be Fit with Brooks

My name is Brooks Hachey and I am a happily married mother of one. Since I was a child I have always struggle with my weight and I never really understood what a healthy life style consisted of. I found myself looking for quick fixes and comparing myself to others. I was on the rollercoaster ride of losing weight and gaining it right back. In my early twenties I decided to step out of my comfort zone and sign up for a “learn to run group” in my community. I was very hesitant and almost found myself “bailing” on the first night. At that point I could not even run a minute without wanting to give up. Although I was nervous I forced myself to go to at least one class and I am so thankful I did. This was one of the moments that changed my life. Within a few shorts weeks I began to feel confident, determined and motivated. I was amongst a group that shared similar goals and it was through the support of each other that we were able to push through and accomplish something we never thought possible. Within 9 weeks I was able to successfully complete and run my first 5km race. Little did I know that this was just the beginning of my journey into the fitness and nutrition world. So what makes me different from other personal trainers and groups? My warm welcoming demeanor paired with high energy, positive thinking, determination and motivation. Fitness has changed my life. I have learned how believing in yourself, goal setting, positive thinking and commitment can give you the ability to accomplish things you never thought possible. I am now a strong, confident person who is fully embracing this new journey. I want to share my passion, enthusiasm and knowledge with you so you too can reach your goals I believe strongly that MOTIVATION + NUTRITON + SUPPORT + FITNESS = SUCCESS. We all often have goals in mind, but it is our own negative self- talk and reluctance to get started that hinders us from achieving them. I will be there with you one step at a time to hold you accountable, encourage, motivate and make achieving your goals not just a possibility but a SUCCESS!!
