Angels on High is an exciting mountain scramble consisting of both priests and laypeople, with a goal to raise $50,000 which will go towards building the new St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Chestermere, AB. The adventure will take them to the summit of Mt. Temple, the second highest mountain in Banff National Park at 3,544 m (11,627 ft). This incredible journey will tentatively take place on Monday August 12, 2013. The festivities will kick off with a fundraising dinner on Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. Gabriel the Archangel’s School gymnasium. (197 Invermere Dr. Chestermere, AB) This is where the St. Gabriel Parish currently worships. A thank you wrap-up celebration will take place on Friday, September 6, 2013.
