Amanda Milke Specializing in Abstract and Impressionist Art using primarily Acrylic and Watercolor as medium. Art pieces range from Fine Art,Art Objects as well as painted Guitars and Custom Jewelry. The Style Amanda has used and explored many traditional media such as acrylic, watercolor, chalk, pastel, ink, and charcoal. Her favorite medium however remains acrylic, and it is in this medium that much of her most distinct work is done. Many people comment on her vivid use of colour. This colourful method, combined with a unique, bold brush style is the corner stone of her unique Artistic style. She feels that there are things you can say in images that words cannot adequately express. As a result, one finds a raw emotion in her work that captures to a minute degree the moments of her life. Amanda now resides in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta with her husband, Jonathan and daughters Zoë.& Prudence. Canvas Paintings & Canvas Commissions All acrylic paintings are done on 100% cotton triple primed acid free canvas. Canvas is back stapled with smooth, staple free sides. Twice sealed with varnish to protect from UV and dust. Larger canvas’ have wooden stretcher bars for support. All paintings come signed and dated. Please note that each piece is copyrighted and as a buyer you are purchasing the actual work and not the rights to the image. Watercolor Paintings Most watercolor pieces are done on 11″ by 15″ Cold Press acid free heavy weight watercolor paper and are sealed with a mat finish to protect from UV and dust. The watercolor Word-Art pieces are also done using archival quality ink. Shipping Within Canada, shipping is included in the price of most pieces.
